My heart expressed through my work at Epiphany looks like selling things and loving people.
It’s so easy to start out in one direction, pretty sure of where you’re going and why, and keeping a steady momentum and pace based on that confidence.
But recently I’ve found myself looking to the right and to the left at what other people are doing and how they’re doing it. I’ve allowed myself to be distracted and pulled off course by the comparison game. Social media can be such a joy-stealer, stopping me from doing MY THING well because I am looking at someone else doing their thing and in comparison it looks better, cooler, more successful, __________ (you can fill in the blank).
So here’s to hitting the re-set button of my soul and practicing the discipline of ‘staying in my lane’. My heart expressed through my work at Epiphany looks like selling things and loving people. I’m going to try with all I am to do that well. Eyes on Him, moving forward with steps He directs, ears tuned to hear His voice, His word my road map. Cheers to moving forward!!
